Welcome to Mandarin Audio. By accessing or using our mobile applications and related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Service Description

Mandarin Audio provides an audio-based language learning platform using a guided listening approach. Free and paid tiers are available; paid tier features are described on theblog and in-app.

2. Account Terms

• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. Mandarin Audio cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage from your failure to comply with this security obligation.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the service. Users under 18 must have a parent or guardian's permission.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service
• Access the service through automated means (bots, scrapers) without written permission
• Upload viruses, malware, or any code designed to disrupt the service
• Interfere with other users' enjoyment of the service

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Paid subscriptions are processed by RevenueCat and Stripe. Subscription terms, renewal, and cancellation policies are presented at the point of purchase. Refund requests are handled case-by-case; contact us within 14 days of a charge for assistance.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, audio recordings, lesson scripts, and software associated with Mandarin Audio are the property of Mandarin Audio or its licensors and are protected by international copyright laws.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mandarin Audio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the service.

8. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the service after such modifications constitutes acceptance.
